AGI & NRCS Collaboration

AGI is collaborating with the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to create and promote K-12 educational resources focused on soils, including engaging lessons and activities. Additionally, NRCS operates Web Soil Survey which is a valuable tool for integrating scientific data into the classroom, enriching students’ learning experiences. Educator guides to Web Soil Survey are now available!

Field Experiences for Teachers

Learn about soil through hands-on field experiences with NRCS scientists and employees. Participate in a one-day Teacher Field Experience near you, or attend a soil-related conference and participate in the Soil Science Workshop for science educators.
